World of Maths

We loved it when The World of Maths came to Clevedon School.  We went to the hall with Room 12.  Some senior buddies from Room 6 worked with us to teach us how to do all the fun activities.  We had a great time!

Room 11 Enjoys Gymnastics

Room 11 and 12 have been going to Bruce Pulman every Monday for gymnastics.  We love going on the bus and doing all the activities Bruce Pulman has to offer.  We have written about the time we are spending at Bruce Pulman.

Every Monday Room 11 and 12 go to gymnastics. My favourite thing is to swing a rope and swing to a bean bag.

Yesterday Room 11 and 12 went to Bruce Pulman Park, and we went to the swing and there was a teacher called Mrs Lockwood.

On Monday Room 11 and 12 went to gymnastics. First we had to do a big warm up. For the warm up we had to skip, hop and jump. Then we got into our groups. My group started with the big swinging rope. You had to hold on to the rope. Then when you were ready you had to push as hard as you could.

On Monday we went to gymnastics at Bruce Pulman.  First, Group Six went to the hula hoops. We did swinging.  Next we went to the trampolines.  We had to do five jumps.  I went second.

I went to gymnastics on a bus. I swung over the beans. I fell down in the middle of the beams. I went up the ladder. I jumped on the trampoline. It had cross in a box on it. I jumped really high. At the end of the day we got on the bus again. We went back to school. I love gymnastics.

Today Room 11 went down to the school field.  Nanny, Trinity and Karma watched me run around the field.  It was raining.  I felt proud.

Today Room 11 went down to the school field to do our cross country.  On the field there were cones to go around. In the race I came 9th place out of the Year 0-1 boys. Abigail came 1st out of the Year 0-1 girls and Michael came 1st out of the Year 0-1 boys. In the end the house leaders were cheering for Weka House. In the end of the race I felt embarrassed because there were lots of people cheering.

I  went to Cross Country today.  This morning we had house leaders.  I skidded on top of the hill.  I came tenth place.  I shouted out, “Weka!”  I saw Ava and Nico.  We played fighting games and Weka gets to go to Rainbows End.

We had to work cooperatively when we were learning about shapes.  We used the i-pads to take pictures of shapes in the classroom and in the playground.  Then we used Pic Collage to present them.
