Making Paper

In our Sharing the Planet unit, we have been looking around the school at the ways we could reduce, reuse and recycle.  One day we emptied our recycling bin and decided to try to make paper.  This is what we did.

Enthusiasm for Learning in Room 11

Ms Sholson keeps telling us how enthusiastic we are.  Watch our video to see what we have been up to!

Our Rubbish Investigation

Room 11 investigated how much rubbish we could find on the Clevedon School grounds.  This is our investigation.

Statistics

We have been learning to gather, sort and display objects.  Ms Sholson gave us problems and we had to figure out different ways to group the objects she gave us.  This one was about sorting the bugs in Katie's garden.  We have been looking at cicada shells and lots of us have been collecting them so this was something we were very interested in!

Swimming!

We are swimming as much as we can in this very hot weather.  Most of us are very confident and like putting ours heads under and gliding along.  We are trying to use big arms to help us develop our freestyle.

We join Rooms 12 and 13 for swimming.  Look at us go!

2015 - Welcome back!

Room 11 is settling in well to the new year.  We are a busy bunch who has been sharing their favourite things and learning all about the Pride values.  We love the pool!  Keep watching our blog and find out what exciting adventures we get up to this year.

Merry Christmas and Good Bye from Room 11, 2014

The end of the year is fast approaching and today we had a small celebration.  Taylor's mum baked us a beautiful cake which had a picture of us on it and we could eat the photo!

A huge thank you to all the parents who have supported us all year by listening to us read and just helped us out on our trips and our many learning days.

Have a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Lots of Love from Room 11, 2014
