Anjalee's Journey

Room 11 has been following the new elephant Anjalee's journey from her home in Sri Lanka, to her time spent in quarantine in Nuie and then her arrival at Auckland Zoo to be a friend for Burma.  In the school holidays some of us were lucky enough to go and see Anjalee and Burma at the Zoo with our families.

On Sunday night, Anjalee arrived at the Auckland Zoo with Burma the elephant.

I learnt about Anjalee and Burma.  Anjalee has to stay away from Burma for two weeks.  I went to the zoo. I saw Anjalee and Burma.  I saw the zebras.

On Sunday night Anjalee the new elephant came to the zoo and they gave them food.
